Whats clear is that they were clearly unprepared for a post Esteban world, his time was pretty much up as far back as the Dandenong Thunder, no doubt a parting of ways back then would have made the job more attractive.

Ultimately nobody of note wanted it, nobody wants to be the coach that relegates South. For Sinisa its a free hit, lets be honest no club would go near him for a senior position. In fact he has never coached a senior mens team. His senior experience is limited to the womens league.

Good luck to him, he is going to need it, part of me thinks if we get smashed tonight in the cup and again on Sunday that the club will backtrack from its stance of keeping him for the season, the more the losses pile up the more erratic the club will get. Wouldnt surprise me if we see new faces in the dugout every few weeks. It is a disgracefully run football club.

Bentleigh seem a little "strangled" this year, some nice football but also some Katsakis hit and hope shit... who knows how tonight will go?? at least the souv should be good, I havent been to the Heath in a couple of seasons now :)
 
Good fighting spirit shown when we went a goal down. Marshall and Brennan getting injured at the worst time with games coming up against Port, Knights and Victory in the next month. We are in big trouble!
 
I dont know how anyone watching that game can label Brennan a loss? He literally stuffed up everything, tripped over himself numerous times, left the ball behind etc. Loved him in his prime but the guy is finished.

Marshall will be a big loss. Need Bonada back leading the line for those games.

Fully agree... although i will add best on frield for the Greens up until the equaliser was Jankovic, non dea what is happening there this season with the constant errors and turnovers he was the biggest threat IMO!

Have to agree... I LOVE Brennan but this season is not his best.... I dont agree that he is finished, still plenty of value in being an impact sub for 20-30 mins a match...

That was pure grit and determination response... No tactics, no plan, just we wanted it more.... Im pleased for the boys, good to see some smiles at final whistle for once.... Thanks lads, all of us are grateful....
