Its important that the problems South have arent overcomplicated.

The squad is woefully inadequate and the coaching staff are even worse.

The club simply doesnt have educated football people on its board plain and simple.
 
Mike with another paid post, how much did the board slip into his pocket to post that crap. Are the board using Mike to shield the fan base from turning on the board and pushing an EGM.

The board Mike backs, why doesn’t Mike ask them why Chris Taylor was sacked. What the particular reason was. Why it was Leo who took the fall for that reason partly when he didn’t make the decision nor even know at the time that CT was being sacked.

The board Mike backs why doesn’t he ask them why we ended up with Siniza. After 18 coaches were shortlisted, why did every single one of them reject South.

The board Mike backs, where is his proof of the 50% up on last years jersey night figures. Especially since it was held later than usual, and with lower numbers - the photos prove this Mike, maybe do a manual crowd count and compare the previous years.

Non player payments were reported by 3XY, so why have the club not made an attempt to deny that claim. After all, they have a precedent with Liam McCormick and Despina Donato.

On the topic of IOUs, the board dumped hundreds of thousands as a gift into South because they love the club so much. Mike believe that of course, they so avidly love South. Despite some of them not being South supporters. Yes Mike, we believe you.

Mike is a puppet defending the indefensible. The club is rotten full of nepotism, self interest and mismanagement. You’re either with the fans Mike or against us.

Largely dormant fanbase, club generates a lot of discussion, you cant go to a local state league game withour a South conversation breaking out, and obviously the games get a lot of youtube views.

As for crowds, this is a pretty low point, about 400 yesterday, if winning not much more in the Esteban era because the team was still very hard to watch, its been a very angry fanbase since the infamous Chris Taylor sacking in 2018 and the clubs never recovered. I'll add to that, the matchday experience is woeful, worst social club in Victoria imo.

We could be a lot better in many facets but we are genuinely a poorly run club. The disconnect between the supporters and the board is enormous.

Do you know where the dormant fanbase is? Are they supporters of a league clubs, other npl clubs or just checked out

Any chance they could come back during an nst?

Also does the club fan base have avenues to confront or change the board? Those issues about the board and matchday experience cant be bigger issue than your median a league club so surely arent insurmountable?

I think this is spot on, but has to also be viewed within the context of why there is dormancy, and that has factors ranging from bad management & nepotism, all the way through to the exclusions suggered, which have all played their part in abstinence etc

It's not like Sydney where the Greeks only have Olympic to support, there's dozens of Greek clubs to watch if you're checked out of Souf & you're not going to waste your Sunday if you've already been to Oakleigh or Bergers on Friday night

I'm a south supporter. Since nsl days. Never missed a game. Now, can't even watch them through streaming. It's a shambles. I'm at malvern city every week. Way more entertaining.
