Aussies abroad šŸŒšŸ¦˜

Some of the MLS Roos:

Rowles unsighted for DC and has presumably left early for the NT.

O'Neill a full game for NYC.

Yazbek a full game for Nashville.

Piol an unused sub for Salt Lake.

Bovalina unsighted for Vancouver.

And don't forget Jake Girdwood-Reich at St Louis SC. Last week he was a starter and came off at the 78 minute mark as they were chasing the game.

Irankunda is creating chances but not a single shot. Coach must be drilling a bit of conservatism into him

irankunda sprints back to stop a counter attack and manages to get closer to the striker than the cb and puts him off the shot

pretty impressive defense tbh

he then sets up a counter attack 1v1 with the keeper then subbed off

well that was an interesting spell. He was dominating for the first 6-7 games and looked way above the league but then really declined sharply, though always showing moments of brilliance

you often see that with aussies in europe where they go through a tough period after an initial burst and then have to work their way back into form. It could be adjusting to the more intense schedule?

Probably the schedule. I'd say the loan has been a success because he scored some good goals and looked a cut above in many games. The dips happen but he got a lot of exposure and bucked the trend of avoiding injury.

Hopefully a Bundesliga 2 loan next season.

Nestory Irankunda played 81 minutes and got a yellow card in the 37th minute of Grasshoppers' 1-0 Swiss Super League relegation playoff second leg loss to FC Aarau, but Grasshoppers stay up after winning 4-1 on aggregate.
