Got to the the ball on the floor and play one touch. Miller takes too many touches. Absolute straws with those bounces and headers. Degenek very solid. Playing at the back still nervy...

Think we need Metcalfe on 10 so we can have some more compact passing and then have the front 2 run on. We've got our back to the goal too much.

It's nothing but seeing O'Neill run along is something. Urgency is missing. Need to get the cross in or the quick first transition ball.
 
I know this is always how we were going to play but the lack of ability to keep the ball is so concerning.

It feels like a conceded goal is coming. And that front three offers so little.
 
To think we could have Triantis, Balard, Nisbet, Irankunda, and Arzani out there.

If Borrello is going to be out there he needs to press like hell and then come off spent. He's trotting along.

Behich has been disgusting given his experience. See the fake facial injury early on?

For me we need to stack the mid a bit more. Like Japan they have a fulcrum and can spread it quickly.

Scary camera view as it shows how Japan linger away from the marker. O'Neill has been complacent garbage and Teague has had one or two alright moments.
 
McGree, Yazbek, Tilio, Arzani probably need to feature. If we want to score and not play for a 0-0 which feels like our plan.

Be honest, if the A League didn't exist we'd be in an equal or worse position with a continued NSL We would not be in a better position with players dotted all over Europe based on nothing more than nostalgia and the NSL clubs.
