Going to tack onto this, a draw tonight AND a draw against Saudi will only see us fail to qualify if Indonesia defeat China and Japan by a collective 13 goals. Saudi Arabia will be automatically below us regardless

Indonesia are now out of the equation.

The only was we fail to qualify now are if:

• Saudi Arabia defeats Bahrain

AND

• Saudi Arabia defeats Australia

AND

• Saudi Arabia turns the goal difference around by 10. Reminder that essentially means goals against us count as two, so a 1-0 defeat of Bahrain and a 5-0 victory over Australia would do it
