The Ange at Tottenham Thread

Greek second division would be more realistic. Ange's ego might be too big to take a second div job though. He might consider MLS.

Cyprus also realistic.
I mean… there’s probably quite a few clubs across Europe in the top division that value actually winning things.

Very clear winning trophies goes against Tottenham’s club policy though.

Losing a club record 22 games in a league season will count against him. Actually the more I think about it the more I think MLS remains his best option. No relegation suits his play style and I suspect he would be able to take advantage of the tactical naivety that exists there.

Him coaching the Cypriot NT would actually be a pretty good project for him, IMO. Assuming of course that he has interest in returning to international football, because the events of the past few days will almost certainly just strengthen his resolve to persist at club-level.

Give up it hey. From November it was clear what the goal needed to be. Due to injuries the limited resources had to go for a trophy and UCL qualification.

The Fans don't care about the league losses once they celebrated the title and now have UCL to look forward to.

If Ange has naivety then what on earth do Atalanta have in hiring ex Southampton manager Juric? The guy is an utter train wreck.

Frank has been excellent for Brentford and is considered successful and revolutionary. Ange, however, is successful and wins. His trophy cabinet has a lot.

Ange to Manchester United. You heard it here first.

BTW, when will this thread be renamed to "The Ange After Tottenham Thread"?

Great for him. Like Ange, above all else, he'll get to fill his bank account.
I'm enjoying the narrative promoted here that Spurs will go back to being a top 6 team but they wont win any trophies :ROFLMAO:

I bet the fans just loved that season of 22 losses and winning the weakest competition they took part in, which they won't be in this coming season.

What's wrong with that? Levy said he wants Spurs competing on all fronts like they used to.

the narrative promoted here that Spurs fans are happier at the foot of the table losing week in week out as long as they grabbed a piece of low hanging fruit silverware at the end of the season 🤭

weve gone over the same same countless times due to you.
Above all to any club winning something is better than not at all.
We all know the league loss's sucked due to countless reasons and not just due to Ange but you keep/kept stabbing his back over winning a trophy might I add against the odds and that every single other club competing would have wished to win it.
Turn it up and stop beating your drum for your own ego let alone being a PIA..

Poor Ange, will be sunning his magnificent physique on a Greek island somewhere wondering if a Europa league medal in his top pocket is enough to get him a job in the MLS or not.. What a disappointment to Australian football.

Still at least he has paved the way for old radar ears Popovic to dominate the EPL in the next 2 years once he takes the Socceroos to a WC Final first that is.

The low hanging fruit silverware which they've won only 3 times in their 140+ year history.

You're entitled to your opinion but honestly you're pretty clueless about football.

there there no need to get personal

Not getting personal, I didn't call you a flog.

I just said when it comes to football, you don't sound like you have much of a clue.

If you did, you wouldn't call the most coveted trophy in Tottenham's trophy cabinet, "low hanging fruit".

If you meant something else, then maybe I misunderstood.
