I'm happy to assist anyone with editing and putting your words down if you need that. It can be daunting at first, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Don't stress too much about the extra fluff. Just focus on your content. What it is you want to say and ensure that you address it. It can be easy to go on tangents, but those tangents could be a 2nd or 3rd article. When I edit, I try not to change what you are trying to say and try to keep your voice as authentic as possible. I mostly might do punctuation and syntax things.
This sounds like a series of articles, which would be really good to read. Takes readers on a little journey and they will come back wanting to see what happens. I know that's what I am going with for the "Fan Disillusion" angle. I was initially going to put it all into one article, but now I have about 5
