Thanks mate!

Bundesliga 2 at start of August but no AA. Women's Euros a good filler and Lions Tour is something I'm interested in. Don't mind the Swimming worlds either.

Equivalent schedule for Matildas at home and abroad:
  • NWSL returns from mid-season break August 2nd
  • Damallsvenskan returns from mid-season break August 8th
  • Serie A Women starts August 24th with the new league cup, season proper starts 5th October
  • Frauen-Bundesliga starts 5th September
  • WSL starts 6th September, Women's Championship starts on the same day
  • A-League Women's schedule to be determined
  • Liga MX Femenil Apertura is already underway (started 11th July)
  • Northern Super League already underway, home and away season ends October 18th

hahaha it just makes me sad that people would be watching 3rd division Euro comps INSTEAD of local Australian football, and then still wonder why the game won't grow here....
I had a lunch commitment to attend but by the time I got home there I could see my son had on APIA/SU game I shuffled straight in to catch the end.
Was a perfect winters sunny arvo would have been great being at Lambert.

The ONLY OFF season is Aleagues hahaha
My women's team are running 4th just 3 pts off first (who we just beat) with 3 games to go, exciting stuff.
But I still call it the off season.

So your coaching a team that plays football in what you call the off season? I hope you don't tell them that... it must be pretty disheartening.

No, not disheartening, they play football & they are enjoying it, do they care that I consider that this is the off season on a A-League thread? No!!!.
Now if I'm on the NPL thread, I may not say its the off season.

LFC, if we were talking in an EPL thread & talking about all the great signing Liverpool has made in the off season we would be correct.

We are in an A-League thread talking about the A-League off season schedule, why is this an issue my friend?

Now if I was in the NPL thread, I would not talk off season & I'd rather give birth to a chair then watch SU58 play;).

robbos, yes Off Season thread yet its not depending the side of the globe you look from.
Hence some mentioned this, its purely general discussion.
Your W team is in Club land ? therefore its in season :)
haha thats a birth I would not want to picture haha
