Surprised the stupid law wasn't applied then. Lion ruck sees shoulder into Australian head. Refs saying red then seeing mitigation. Right call but ridiculous red is even entertained for something so inadvertent.

Correct that Lions won but the officiating was poor. Lions with many consecutive penalties and no yellow card. Wallabies wasteful.

Wallabies Lions again. Media always pumping up Skelton and Valentini. I have found both to be the dopiest, ill disciplined out there.

Question re: Lions tour

Does the Argentina game in Ireland count as part of the tour/season? Because if not, my research is showing will be the first Lions tour clean sweep (at this rate) since 1974 in South Africa

First bite of humble pie tastes good that Valentini really smashing into it so far. 6:0 Wallabies after 10. Lions a bit soft and slow so far which is surprising.

Weird the Lions got the ball and had 3-4 backs to the right and could've gone for a run and play but just kicked it all the way back.

That's a good question. The wiki has the Argentina game listed. Where it's official I'm not sure. You'd have to go through the other tours and see if they played a home game before departing.

Lions 'he started it.' whinging bastards.

Lions knock on but have a 5m tap.

These Lions rucks on the line totally legal but I swear I see other refs blow after 1 second that the ball can't be moved. Rugby refs are good at waiting but some are petulant.

Need more advantage in football too.

In rugby, players can jump to evade a tackle, but it's not without limitations. While not explicitly prohibited, jumping over a tackler is generally considered dangerous play and can result in penalties if deemed unsafe for either player.

So refs aren't applying the laws? Ffs this sport is gone at times.

That's so rich Lions calling a Wallaby pass forward. The number of forward passes ignored does my head in. Potter down with hamstring injury. Surely done.

Cheating Lions with hands. FFS it's a yellow! Final warning given instead. 2 laws broken in ruck and no yellow and a try against the rules.

Try Wallabies and now a 50/20 kick.

Still only 11:5. Those penalty goals do and don't add up. Lions down to 14 players.

Try Wallabies. Nicely done but the ref essentially a shield there. Horrible positioning.

Another for the Wallabies. Running rugby finally! Started by ex NRL. Aus rugby league players still have the wood over anyone in world rugby.

2 Lions tries. Dumb by Wallabies falling asleep there.

Wallabies choking big time. Why can't they just the the ball and chip away with some penalty goals? Poor game management. That's regardless that the first and last Lions tries were situations where Super Rugby has seen such play penalised.

World swimming champs get underwater. Always fun to watch but it's definitely used as a trial compared to the Olympics.

Wallabies been a train wreck ever since Eales and all hung up the boots.
They are nothing compared to that last era I don’t bother watching anymore nor care.

I just shake my head. Absolute bunch of clowns. I know we had decent number of foreign born Wallabies who were excellent.

For me it went out the window when they kept picking all these kiwi and islander born players. It's not exactly about where they were born but they couldn't remove themselves from their background to actually care much about the Wallaby ethos of old. Islander rugby is famously poorly disciplined a dumb. Fast, but gives away a lot of penalties and gets things like scrums and line outs wrong.

International rugby leaves a sour taste nowadays with its eligibility rules. You've got islanders playing for European nations, most of Japan while the UAE team is full of South Africans. It's not reflective of the home grown game.
