All eyes on that battle for the 6th spot for NSW finals... utd58 has the game in hand olympic and wolves right there and st george 3 points back... slight advantage to utd but will go to the wire it seems... sorry beretta and you know i respect utd58 but wouldnt mind seeing O_lym_pic pinch it.... hopefully will tire them out for the championship against SMFC! 🤣🤣

If the game had VAR they'd lose more points than what they've picked up.

Greg Blake was trying to dance on our grave a few months ago with opinion piece on the locker room fb page claiming we were dead and now he looks like an idiot.

The thing i find most hilarious is heidelbergs corner camera angle of the dissalowed goal shows it was the right decision.

Have they still not mentioned the penalty you should have got against them.

Or they still going on about the shoulder charge disallowed goal that would probably get you a week in the afl these days lol

They beat us fair and square but 8 mins of injury time in a 1-0 game had to come from somewhere lol.

Like it never happened.

All clubs go through dodgy decisions, supporters have a whinge but i've never seen a club complain so much on official channels like them. Posting videos etc. What pisses me off most about them is how they play dumb when decisions go for them and they've had plenty this year.

The hypocrisy gets me, they scream cheated 2 weeks ago when they shoulder charged our defender over the goal line and it was ruled out, yet when one of their players right at the end of the Avondale game was fouled (minor contact) and it wasnt given they carry on like it was a Muscat 2 footer.

Now they're claiming we fouled their keeper for our match winner on Saturday, just never ends.

I don't dispute they are the best team in the league.

Though the way they carry on off the park like a little kid throwing a tantrum.

From the posting of the goals to their keeper calling out the officials

Reminds me of this from the nplw last season. They were awfully quiet about it on the day

 
I remember that, yep no mention.

Nobody disputes how good they are, we all acknowledge they are the benchmark, in both the mens and womens game. Its just starting to become tedious that they cant lose graciously.

Soft red card to mikkola in last years dockerty cup final. Been a few this year as well, Brennan tripped in the box against Victory and booked for diving, the one 2 weeks ago against heidelberg, the absurd red card to Jankovic against altona and the even more absurd indirect free kick in the box against south hobart instead of a pen when our player got his head taken off...now imagine the club started posting all these claiming we got robbed lol.

I mean yeh it sucks but the decision is not changing. Having your official club channels leading the charge is an awful look. It invites terrible commentary, some of the stuff they are saying about our club is disgusting.

To think 3 yrs ago we did these pricks a favour by beating Avondale on the final day to help get them into the top 6 instead of Avondale when we had nothing to play for....perhaps we shouldnt be so generous this Sunday when we can hand them top spot by beating Avondale again. Hey since we are cheats anyway we may as well roll over. These clowns would relegate us without a 2nd thought if they could.

Despite all this i still hope we beat Avondale on the weekend even if it does gift heidelberg the league, our dna is that we try to the best of our ability to win every match....but they're pushing it!

Thats football.. I whinge and whine on the day lke the best of them and its almost at the stage where I am willing to cheer any 50/50 call that goes our way ony because it is such a rare occasion :).

BUT, as you say, we are suppoorters and pay our coin to be entitled to whinge and moan at decisions we feel are wrong, happens the world over..... As a club, and club captain on the day this is a poor, sore loser approach....

As for them being the best team outside the Aleague ... I dont see it.

Heidelberg aren't the best team in the npl, they aren't even 1st on the ladder. Avondale is 1st, been consistently finishing 1st/2nd for years now, they are the best team in the npl.
 
I'd say on current form we are borderline top 4. We've beaten 4 of the top 6 in this run. Beating Avondale and Heidelberg back to back in the cup is huge. We might tail off after Auckland tomorrow but thats because the last 2 games genuinely mean nothing.

As for the finals i think they can all win it except Hume.

Last 2 matches of the season gives some meaningful game-time to Ren, Menelaou and Spink for the Championship if anything.
