A-League Mens 24/25 - Round 5

Sydney FC are playing some wonderful football, good mixture of good foreigners and young players.

We all went to the SFS. Great atmosphere and great football. WSW kicked the crap out of the Sydney midfield in the first half to break up the way which they did successfully despite them going down a goal however they got their deserved equaliser. Sydney play very high line constantly and commit alot of players forward on the attack which is part of Talay's all or nothing philosophy ( hi Ange ) however this leaves a massive amount of space behind and most of the goals that Sydney has conceded have the result of counter attacks and losing the ball in critical parts of the field and getting caught out. Talay took Costa off at half time which was a planned sub I assume as it's obvious he isn't 100% yet and Onahim really came into his own in the second half and Sydney dominated the play. WSW made it exciting at the end and VAR hilariously disallowed a goal but it's another derby defeat for the Wanderers. Mata, waste of money, WSW should just play an academy player instead.

Im not a SFC fan but damn they played well, they really took it to WSW and the subs did there job. Talay has them playing well and its good to see he is not afraid to play kids. Also what's up with Roar, they should have beaten Adelaide but once again AUFC fluke there way with a win.

It's because Roar have the worst defence in the comp. Attacking wise we're not too bad, but yeah our defence sux

here you go unite fans
hey you have to enjoy what you enjoy, while your team goes top of the table in the PL, I enjoy the more evenly balanced competition of the Championship & Derby.
Likewise here, I enjoyed SFC, the atmosphere was great, SFC playing some of the best football I have seen from any Australian club side & we had 30K to the game, you can enjoy the NPL.

according to peter petrov, sydney fc are the first side to go for relational rather than positional tactics

Bang on

Ooo touchy fellas :)
No mate, not touchy, it's just some like point out all the negatives of the A-League & no doubt there are many negatives, some are very agenda driven, I tend to enjoy what I enjoy.
Lots of talk about franchise clubs in the A-League, most of the big clubs in the PL (so not doing anything that is different) are franchises, including Liverpool, who are part of the Fenway sports group franchise, of course this is not a middle Eastern ownership, so some choose to ignore that it's not fans owned but owned by large franchise that allows it to compete at a much higher level than my team Derby.

TBH I didnt even know it was unite round. I saw MV kickoff against wellington at 1.30 and assumed it was over there

Whatever happened to the special deals from airlines they were going to give the fans?

Seriously who would waste their money going to watch a game against wellington? Stab your eyeballs out
