Sign Up Now!Happens a bit in NSW sometimes. I remember one of the Griffith teams getting 3 rounds in one year purely off walkovers, because the other team decided they didn't want to travel. What's with all the walkovers already? Six matches over before a ball has been kicked.
Yeah it's bizarre. Why enter (and pay) if you don't want to travel? What do they expect? It's not a league match.Happens a bit in NSW sometimes. I remember one of the Griffith teams getting 3 rounds in one year purely off walkovers, because the other team decided they didn't want to travel.
Although in saying that, considering one of the games you're mentioning is Delahey <> St Kilda, guessing the team decided they just weren't ready...
Very good points - though I believe NSW Australia/Waratah Cup fixtures kick off around the same time this season?the hardest situation for general local clubs is getting commitment from players before the season starts.
For eg Syd metro doesn't koff till March/April - many clubs haven't even kicked a ball even.
Sure some have.
Also many clubs haven't even confirmed their player rosters.
Can imagine how difficult it would be regional wise, plus the travel.
Just saying.
thank you @Hellenic_blue&white hence why doing full weekend wrap either Sunday Night or Monday Night which will be the latter more often not for weekend fixtures is better doing like that.Love your work mate! Cheers for all the info!
Train out west anywhere would be great. Unfortunately we are extremely car dependant and fat. There is, the South West Victoria FA. It's still close. Maybe one day they'll join together... a train service out there would be handy if they don't already have one.
