English Premier League 🦁

Knew would be a tuff game but chances haven’t been taken.
Jota and Nunez had openings to finish.
Miss Gapko

I wouldn't consider crap - all they lacked was that final finish missing Haaland.
Their play was damn good, those young blokes can play.
I was impressed and on the edge of the seat from 3 bloody am haha

Pep doesn't need many new players to be a contender again imo.
The summer they will buy more no doubt and be up there next season for sure.

its in the bag, the title is Liverpool's

Championship this morning, Leeds late come back, 3-1 win over Sheffield United.

would be great to see Leeds back in the PL.

I won't count the title till the fat lady sings my friends.

yep that was a huge statement win by Leeds
My Leeds mate is keeping quiet on tender hooks but they are on the promo path, yes will great to see them back up.

  1. Leeds United, 98 points
  2. Sheffield United, 93 points
  3. Burnley, 91 points
  4. Sunderland, 81 points
  5. West Brom, 69 points
  6. Coventry City, 69 points
  7. Blackburn Rovers, 68 points
  8. Bristol City, 65 points
  9. Norwich City, 64 points
  10. Watford, 64 points
  11. Middlesbrough, 63 points
  12. Sheffield Wednesday, 62 points
  13. Millwall, 60 points
  14. Preston North End, 59 points
  15. QPR, 58 points
  16. Swansea City, 56 points
  17. Portsmouth, 54 points
  18. Stoke City, 51 points
  19. Oxford United, 51 points
  20. Hull City, 51 points
  21. Cardiff City, 48 points
  22. Plymouth Argyle, 43 points
  23. Derby County, 42 points
  24. Luton Town, 41 points
Leeds United have been predicted to win the league by five points and go up automatically to the Premier League with Sheffield United. Burnley, Sunderland, West Brom and Coventry City are then being tipped to make up the play-offs, with Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City, Norwich City, Watford, Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall missing out.
At the other end of the table, Plymouth Argyle, Derby County and Luton Town are being backed to drop into League One. Cardiff City, Hull City, Stoke City, Oxford United and Portsmouth all then stay up and retain their second tier statuses.

then I have my golfing Derby mate, he's on the edge, they sacked the coach just the other week and hope the change will lead them to survival.
Hope Plymouth made a motza from our Cup defeat haha

WTF what a soft Haaland goal against Spurs already.
Why does the fullback not get goal side at this level is woeful.

Go Ipswich 1up already vs united, comic goal, gift.

Come on Forest - gonna be good game 2nd vs 3rd.

Waiting on the LFC Toon game to start in the meantime.

Nightmare for Dorgu. Caused the Ipswich goal now a red. Really tired of these hyped raw players going to the EPL after a good season or 2 in Italy or France. Made to look like mugs.

It seems anything going for United gets stifled.
Poor kid has ended up having a shocker.
Worse against the bottom club.

how have Tottenham not scored in this match, they've been unlucky.

shame for the Spurs hearing that B.
I'm too focussed watching a complete team do the business with and without the ball.
Even better our closest chaser drew its relief the next 10games of the league.
13point break - unheard of - we could break our own epl record winning the league with many games in spare.
YNWA my friends, 20 is looking not far off.

13 points clear, its over. lol

just not counting the chickens till its hatched but yer pretty much both hands on the title.
Nah man.. call it now .... I mean Arsenal have a pretty easy run for the last 10 matches but they've still got Champions league AND us ... its too much of a gap to make up .... surely.

Breezy game strolled through the game with very little to worry about thought Diaz was excellent Szoboszlai is looking better every game, Macca terrific and I love how everytime Endo plays the ball the crowd always responds, almost feel sorry for him as he is a wonderful player but more effective when closing off a game. Trent largely missing in action again very quiet game from him but honestly we have 9 fingers and a thumbprint on the title ...........nearly there now

KK, I wouldn't call it breezy but yer without Isak made it les of a worry.
Like against city we're shutting down whats trying to break through us, even Gordon was kept very quiet for normally he's been a PIA for us.
Diaz had one of those days, terrorist taking them on.
Zobo is a beast when he's in these timely moods, getting better and better.
Macca is the classic midfielder that is good attacking and defending, body on the line stuff, and then the perfect foot to the ball into the net.
TAA is going through the motions, I hope he enjoys the remaining games and goes to RM with our blessing.
MO, I was giggling that last 20 or so, he was trying so hard to find that hole so he could put one in the net hahaha to keep his account ticking over.
I read Endo saying he was happy the role he plays, I hope Slot does him the honour starting up soon considering its nearly in the cabinet.

I'm just reading a sms from a fellow Red, what a season. Must cherish it as it doesn't come often !
