A league final

My poor mum thinks I'm gonna get bashed tomorrow thx to this broad
Tell her it's all good as you've got a machete for protection.

I’ve got Victory to win it, but i think it will be a tight game.

Victory have the better midfield and I think that will prove the difference especially when they got Bruno and Vergos up front.

Man that starting xi for city is ancient

Only caputo and beach young

Definitely going for victory

Just watched channel 9 news. Not a single mention of the football tonight. Flicked over to channel 7 and they're showing the police surrounding the fans outside the stadium. Zero on both channels about the game. The media hates football being successful here. It's ridiculous.

It was the opening story on 9 here in Melbourne - and they talked about the history and the marching to the stadium.

Physically it’s been a tough game, I think the ref is trying to let it go but I can see some yellow cards and potentially a red card if it’s kept up like this.

City have the edge due to their midfield pressure and that composure in the final third that has made them the team they are this season. They construct their plays so well.

Victory with as many, if not more, opportunities but they are all rushed and frantic seeming and not good enough yet to break down City's defensive resilience.

I have to say that I am not yet decided on who I want to win - but I do want an equaliser from Victory to make sure the intensity stays up there.

Arzani has been annoying me with the times that he employs great skill to do something pointless or aimless, and with his theatrical pain. Especially when he got a pat on his head while on the ground from his opponent to say a sort of "sorry, you're OK" and "come on get on with it" only to have him then wrap both arms around his shattered skull to stop his brains falling out.

On the other side, Behich also throwing himself to the ground, clasping a clearly broken cheekbone <cough> to stop his teeth falling out the side of his head after some pressure on the side of his face. And yet Behich has done some of his best attacking work up that front third.

Kersey has not made all the decisions how I saw them, but I think he is managing the crap side of play very well.

It is hard to pick a favourite when both teams play with relatively equal brilliance and also employ relatively equal bullshit theatrics.

A good game to watch though!

Intentional drag back from Behich and no yellow. Then softest yellow for Rawlins. This ref is a clown.

allowing all the physical stuff really spoils the game to be honest

According to the ref at the NPL game I went to on the weekend, it’s only a yellow for these whilst also being a SPA

I don’t recall this specific incident with Behich though
