Fair point and I certainly agree here. The Russian military isn't a great example of how a superpowers military should perform.they have made a superpower look like a bunch of drunks for 3 years....
It's been widely reported that Russia's army is facing issues with motivation, stemming from factors like inadequate training, poor leadership, and logistical problems. This lack of motivation, combined with other weaknesses, has definitely contributed to Russia's struggles in Ukraine. Plus the fact that it's becoming more a 'meat grinding' war of attrition by the day. This tends to be a motivation killer too, especially considering how much of the work is being done by conscripts.
But they would walk it if Ukraine wasn't getting the help it is from the West. Putin has definitely miscalculated the mindset of the NATO nations in this regard.
