You'll have to ask Bailey and McDonald why? A nonsense decision given Green has never batted there before. And now he goes too, was put under too much pressure. FS in some early trouble now.

commentators haven't drunk the bazball coolaid

criticized the batter for hitting a cover drive, saying that it is the sort of shot that will get you out in these conditions in the first session at lords
 
Good opening attack bowling from Rabada and Jansen. Both bowling a few balls at 140kph plus. Good line too.
 
I imagine Green batting at 3 to have Webster batting at 6. He bowls both pace and spin and can bowl long spells.

Definitely, he has scored plenty of runs there at FC level. Smithy made his legend batting #3. This is one of his happiest hunting grounds, @57. Dumb selectors need lynching.
