Leave the tipotenioi re .... Preston brought more fans to Lakeside in one match than Oakleigh has in the past 20 years (collectively).

Won't be long before we are done with these clowns, 1-2 years maybe ...

It was a legitimate result, victory we're on fire, we just didn't have any answers for their ruthless assault. Anyone can beat anyone.

Yes well Preston are the biggest club in Npl vic right now, they have a big passionate fan base, they rival some a league clubs in attendance, i don't think it's fair to compare us to them, we're just a small suburban club, cruising along doing our own thing.

Good to see South are safe from relagation now, don't know what you think they'll be doing in 1-2 years though, I'm sure you'll still be here in the npl.
 
I wonder what Oakleigh are going to do when they host Preston, all the clowns from eaton mall who couldnt name you a single player will rock up and the ground is basically half a construction site. Ban Preston fans or move it? Tough times at Oak land.

The mystery is how someone that won the golden boot in South Australia last year ends up in vpl1. He has 9 goals in 17 games for an ordinary team, he looks pretty good to be fair, technically sound and actually quite good in the air. I'd be more at ease if we poached someone with a proven scoring record in the vic top flight. Its a shame we cant seem to land a big fish anymore.
 
If the signings were possibly 5 as was touted, then there is 3 more chances one may be a standout...to be fair not fussed for a big name player as i am to make sure we have an actual dedicated striker (hopefully he works) and then depth and cover.. less worried now that some of the youngsters are showing up solid.

Any news on Mells? Injury, release departure???
