They’ll need a decent home result as Bodo’s pitch is garbage.

He won't, the big leagues by and large are recruiting the next gen of coaches. Ange is part of the old guard. I expect him to retire but happy to be proven wrong.

Moyes is probably the floor as far as Manager suitability for the prem. Ange is below that, IMO.

Did we all believe he’d become a top level manager in The Prem?

Ange’s issue is he’s been a big fish in a small pond most his life. It’s very hard to make the transition to a large ocean at the end of your career. It’s very hard to notice your failings when you’ve succeeded so much prior. I don’t think the support is “happy clappy’, we just want to see an...

Every manager at elite level has connections. They bring them in whether as assistants or DOF’s. Ange never really worked those connections much and prior to Spurs, Celtic was his only European top flight gig he’d been exposed to. He’s his own man, but at the summit of football, one requires...

He's supported by Jedinak, Monty & some random portuguese guy who was at Mariners. They're nobody's. Same with the English contingent there. A far cry from your Queiroz's and Meulensteen's who had the ear of SAF all those years ago. He has no shoulder to lean on. His backroom staff are a bunch...

I get it why Ange would rub people up the wrong way, but I think it's misguided. With Ange comes a large group of admirers. Most just want to see an Australian do well / like the guy for what he's given to the game. He brings that with him wherever he goes and it annoys the...

This is one of the best reviews of Ange’s tactical foibles. Worth a watch. Very balanced.

it’s all finally come undone. Ange isn’t the first manager to be rattled by the British environment and he isn’t the last. All 4 walls are caving in on the guy now and you can clearly see it on his face. Every man and his dog wants this relationship over. For Ange’s own mental health he...

You failed to understand my point. Newcastle failed to perform last season with an overloaded schedule. Villa are doing the same this season. There are few squads in the PL that can handle the league and Europe.

Every other club do not have more or less the same schedule. Most clubs play 1 game per week. Want to know what overload looks like? 1. Villa could easily fail to qualify for Europe next season. 2. Newcastle had the same issues last season trying to navigate Europe & the league

If he wins Europa he is 100% getting another season.

They're not going to say "when they change" whilst the guy is in the job, but these things are a self fulfilling prophecy in football. Always is.

Looking ominous now when these rumors start circulating. I guess we can start speculating where next for Ange, which I think will be on a sun-lounge somewhere on the Mediterranean coast/Greek Islands enjoying his life.

The thing that Spurs fans forget is; 1. Kane & Son carried that club for almost a decade and they haven’t been replaced 2. Clubs in & around them like Villa, Brighton, Forrest, Newcastle have all vastly improved their football departments, outpacing Spurs setup. 3. Spurs literally had no...

Well during his tenure in the EPL he managed against the likes of Sheffield United, Burnley, Luton Town & Southampton too didn’t he? I guess those games don’t count either. Delete the first 10 games as well because it’s a new manager bounce / coaches hadn’t figured him out yet. Just count the...
