Probably should include New Zealand, since I’m counting Canberra United as an APL club, this now brings the APL total to 14, and the total clubs to 1655.
Above is the breakdown by region I’ve done so far - noting I haven’t gone through the following numbers wise. (which are mostly metro though).
- WA NPL, State, Metropolitan, and Amateur leagues
- SA NPL, State, Amateur, and Collegiate leagues
- NNSW NPL, Zone Leagues, North Coast Premier League, Northern Inland Premier League
- QLD NPL and QPL 1 and 2
- VIC NPL, VPL, State, and Metropolitan leagues
- NSW NPL, League 1 and 2
Those with asterisks are regions that are sub regions that named the same as the main region, so have included in that for now, but haven’t formally split the top league up.
APL clubs have been included in what I’ve determined as their association (all 3 Melbourne teams as Metro, Mariners in Central Coast, Wanderers in Granville, Sydney in Eastern Suburbs, everywhere else is pretty straight forward)
