2025 Australia Cup

WTF man????? Sorry I havent seen highlights yet but WTF? we were checking the scores at the ground last night, couldnt believe the scoreline...
We were just poor all around.

I get we probably have one eye on Saturday. Though we still should be winning

Marth set them up well. They soaked up the pressure and countered really well.

Great quality game @ Christie park.
End to end stuff and so pacy credit to both teams very fit.
Good one touch football.
Best thing is APIA 2up HT.

Spirit came out 2nd half and got a deserved goal - game on @ 2-1.
As the game wore on APIA just had that bit more class and linking play more consistant in turn grabbed 2 goals finished them off.
Great temps for playing and spectating sound win considering both very close on the NPL ladder.

Cup football at its best.

Sydney United 3-3 (10-9 AP) Sydney Olympic.

United scored two goals in a minute and Olympic got one back before HT.

2nd Half Olympic scored a Bomb to make it 2-2 at FT.

ET - Olympic took the lead in the first half of ET. Only for United to equalize 123th min and take it to Pens.

Each player took a penalty, then it was up the GKs to take them... Luckily for us we prevailed.

What a night!

Happy enough with that .... we aren't going far into the Aussie cup this year with the squad we have and our coaching issues.... Still facing Hajduk to get into semis for Dockerty is an achievable goal....

Hey mate, I went searching for a stream and couldnt find... any highlights or vision of this one?

2 good cup games in Syd last night.

MSC got to say from watching yours and greens game previous night.
The APIA Spirit general ball movement and pace made your game look messy ordinary.
Just the observation
Nothing but the truth mate.... The Grange pitch is an ankle breaker, lumpy and bumpy and you could see how many injuries happened during the match. Not to say that the football was in any way fluid though... South are in the middle of a complete change of direction so any fluidity is by mistake at the moment and Bentleigh are a typical niggling, Katsakis team... never pretty to watch.
