2025 NPL attendance and viewers

Fair enough.

If you get games at suburban grounds with reasonable ticket prices and stream the games on YouTube it's a lot simpler. Hmm very interesting
Ill spend $15 on a ticket, maybe $50 bucks on souv and a few beers with the boys tonight .... and then go home and watch the rest of the round on youtube for free.. after the Hellas replay of course :P Not bad value in my eyes.

wait till the NST gets up and running and has (I hope) 2-3 seasons of growth under its belt..... The flow on effect to all linked leagues below should be great... Your local Bentleigh or Oakleigh or whatever you end up choosing will be buzzing with anticipation of climbing the ladder soon... get stuck in mate... Follow the Aleague in summer by all means but the "grassroots" need syou more.
bud, lets hold our horse's for now, I know many of us hope the future turns out as such but I still have concerns of curve balls to come, re active action and pressure on the FA by the APL, the bloody AFP and throw in even the Feds still play hard ball with the FA and their loss of leading Clubs.
FA/JJ got to dot the i's x the t's and stick to their guns in the end.

Mate there are 12 x clubs lining up and pushing to go, I reckon in 2-3 years time we will have enough to do two national divisions.... momentum is growing....

yer I know but at this stage its that chicken before the egg scenario feeling know what I mean.
Yeah I know mate, your 100% right, we keep on getting burned year after year... I guess I'm just excited cos the season is starting.... in less than 5 hours I will be pitchside watching a match for table points again ... God Bless Football. :)

i think of they had a model like Vic , Nsw and Qld play games across the whole weekend it would approve although maybe not Sunday afternoons as most leagues are on a Sunday afternoon here
whats the lighting situation at grounds like over there? Friday nights are really popular with some clubs here, gets the local crew down for a drink and some football....

its 50/50 the top 4-5 clubs has really good lights , the other would be just on the limit but could host the games and I know a few clubs have issues with the residents around as how late the lights are on and how many nights a week.

overall they should be able to play more night games that would work

Are you tied to a club over there? Fan/Player/volunteer? I dont know much about Perth soccer apart from the obvious Azzuri, Floreat, Stirling and Joondalup...

I was a referee for 23 years but my family has been involved in a state league 1/2 club for about 40 years.

Really invested over here and the crowds have grown apart from Armadale the NPL clubs this year are Perth and northern suburbs based.

Bit still go watch 1-2 games a week if I can in the NPL

Well done Mikes and welcome aboard the GG bubble with us.
Be good to have ongoing happenings from the west.
Nice football fam you got there involved couldn’t do it without refs etc bravo.

we also run here a State League 1 and State league 2 as the semi pro comps here in W.A here is a link to there fixtures

12 in each of these leagues relegation is possible to the Sunday Premier division , but its not a case of bottom goes down from state league 2 and then the Sunday premier division comes up automatically , its the winner of the Sunday league can say yes or no to coming up being Ametuer status which if they say No , the bottom state league 2 survives.

I've always wondered, what happens to the semi pro SL2 team going down? Do they suddenly become an amateur team and not answerable to Football West?

And what was the delay with the fixtures being released? Just five weeks before kickoff must be some sort of record!

I have no issues what so ever with that sort of scenario... Being promoted SHOULD be the choice of the lower league club, if they cant afford it or dont believe they will be competitive so be it...
