A-league attendances 24/25

On another note regarding the fixturing… why is Perth Glory playing away for 3 consecutive weeks? Surely with the amount of travel they play at home one week and away the next? Seems like it would have made sense for them to have the bye in Unite Round.

Is that a joke? New Zealand derby on Australian TV? And a game between 2 teams who park the bus and play anti-football? I would rather watch AU v MB
Your choice is just as bad. I will take the NZ rivalry match over any MacArthur game.

Round 7

Brisbane vs Melbourne City 6,125
Auckland vs Wellington 26,253
Newcastle vs Adelaide 5,713
Western United vs Macarthur 2,867
Melbourne Victory vs Perth
Central Coast vs Sydney FC

Brisbane Roar - 6,125

One A League franchise in a city of 2m+ with no other A League franchise in the SE Qld conurbation and all they can get is 6,125 fans through the gate. What an absolute shambles of a franchise......

Brisbane, Perth and Newcastle teams are thin and they don't have any resources it's a miracle they are getting anyone there

WU and the Bulls should be in the NST at best. Replace them with South Melbourne, go back to 12 teams and don’t add anyone until a ‘can’t miss’ bid comes in like Auckland.

Mariners have had uncanny bad luck with weather over the years.
It's not bad luck, it's statistics and weather patterns.
The season is played from October to April. Gosford receives more rainfall during that period compared to the other months.
Logically, the chances of copping torrential rain during the A-League season are considerably higher than in the off-season.

Oh the old "it was raining...." excuse......
Not an excuse but Australia can be in the middle of a drought and early season CCM games will inevitably be wet (including washouts) - with the vast majority of seats not undercover. Probably more of a problem was the Sunday 6pm timeslot. A lot of Sydney FC and WSW fans will travel for a Saturday game and stay the weekend. Sunday night only gets die-heard away supporters.

A dry Saturday night game and we would be closer to last year's crowd of 11379
