So glad Bill Foley and Auckland FC are experiencing early success on and off the pitch. Shows the potential of this league to other investors and it will hopefully put some existing owners who are underperforming under the microscope.

Most folk are all on holiday. Not necessarily away on holiday either. You were moaning about no games on Boxing Day, were you not. Make up your mind, this happens every year.
 
5:40 and Waddingham showed his heavy touch. Pinched the ball and gave it straight back.

Jelacic flagged offside after getting totally free in behind the Mariners - replay showing he was half a metre onside. WTF happened to giving the benefit of the doubt. Official fucked it up instead of letting it run "like they have been told to" and stole a chance we should have had.

Van der Suck showing everything that is wrong about his play. Coathanger in the opening minutes to make sure he is on a card all game. Stupid decision making and bad passing. Kills just about everything that comes through him.

Unfortunate own goal but we have been "unfortunate" too many times now to open up the thought that we are dodgy at the back rather than simply unlucky.

Doka is a piss weak diver - again. Slight touch and down he goes. Stupid thing is the Roar players keep giving him the opportunity by grabbing at him or pushing him. Just amateur stuff that they should be smart enough to avoid.

I don't care that we have dominated parts of the game. We are a goal down and not turning our half chances into even decent saves.

I am going on record and saying the second half cannot be worse. All up from here...
 
Another offside flag, this time on Waddingham I think around 80+ minutes that showed on the replay that he was easily onside.

Two dodgy offside calls in a world where they are told not to flag it. Both were genuine threat moments.

We were our own worst enemy. Finally showed some drive and desperation in attack but unlucky not to get through the Mariners desperation. Punished twice by two attacks in the second half.

Bility's second yellow was a travesty. Edmonson (I think) jumped into his back and should have given away the free kick - but it went the other way and no way there was anything card worthy done by Bility. Incomprehensible decision by Kersey.
