A-League Mens 24/25 - Round 20

The NZ derby is sold out, and will be shown on FTA in NZ for the first time. Shame its not on FTA here in Aus but going by the last TV ratings when it was they weren't that good (Only 40k).
3pm (eastcoast time) on a Summer Saturday arvo is never going to rate well here. I reckon it should have been scheduled for 7pm (kiwi time / 5pm eastcoast time).

APL Board Announces Stephen Conroy as Executive Chair

  • Conroy announced as Executive Chair of APL with immediate effect.
  • Mandate to complete transformation of organisation.

Thursday 20 February: The Board of the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has been driving a comprehensive organisational transformation throughout 2024 to strengthen the future of Australian men’s and women’s professional football.

With significant progress made both on and off the field, the Board has unanimously asked Chairman Stephen Conroy to take on an Executive role to lead the final phase of this transformation.

As Executive Chairman, Conroy will oversee the optimisation of APL’s operations. Once this process is complete, he will return to his Non-Executive role.

Throughout season 2024/25, the A-Leagues has continued to showcase entertaining football alongside growth in key metrics, with crowds up 14% year on year in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, and free-to-air TV audiences on Network 10 increasing more than 15%, setting up an exciting finale to the regular season.

How do you do these tables here?

Well Stephen Conroy as a senator was reknown for not talking shop. So the answer is we will have no idea what to expect. The bigger question is what did Conroy and the former CEO come to blows about.

How do you do these tables here?
This site uses BBcode, so I just code it by hand. It does help if you have some coding experience with basic HTML. If you hit the code button (it's the one that looks like [ ]) you can view how I put it together. You can also do it via the table button which should also work fine but may lack some customisations. It'll get the job done though.
