A league w is getting beaten by this
 
Just as a comparison, Suncorp Netball league crowd averages are double that of AFLW but I doubt if anyone is comparing the two sports.

It's interesting to compare the crowds/ratings to know what's popular. Having said that there's nothing wrong with people liking AFLw good for them I a league w to be successful as well

I think it would be better to compare apples with apples if comparisons are at all necessary.

Events how? They all look like single matches to me. Might include pre/post match stuff, but still very comparable. After all, there is Matildas' games in that list.

Point is, ALW isn't included in that 'Top 11'

Come on! You know what an ‘EVENT’ is and Australians are EVENT goers.
Yes Matildas games are listed and rightly so, they are ‘Events’.
ALW match rounds are not (a least not yet).

Ok, so lets compare the 'events'

The NRLW and AFLW Grand Finals both made the top 11 list. ALW Grand Final did not.
 
AFLW is a dreadful spectacle. I can't watch it for more than a few minutes. What sort of people enjoy watching women flung to the ground and trampled on?
And women's rugby league is even worse.
AFLW will get promoted, however, as part of the AFL's "imperial mission".
