With poor ratings like this week i wonder just how the next TV deals goes with Super Rugby and the A-League next year. Rugbys set to get around $500m over four years for there next TV where as people are saying the A-League will likely to get a mere $250 over 5 years.
Just shows you how much the ball has dropped since leaving Foxtel.

When I clicked on the ten website at the start of the a league season there was immediately a popup advertising the nbl

Ratings are up in NZ too, So i want to puy this out there, Should the NZ clubs only get the TV money from SkySports for the ALM/W rights to run the clubs and have the Paramount Australia/Ch10 money go to the Australian based clubs?.
Back in the day there when the FA wanted Nixs gone they made it clear SkySports where only paying $150,000 for the ALM TV rights yet the Warriors/SkySports brought the NRL just over $1m for the NRL rights.
SkySports now show the ALM and ALW plus whatever else they got from Paramount and its unclear how much they pay.

Said this since day 1 that New Zealand will only get better if they break away from Australia and play in New Zealand. Invest in your own and build for the future. But that is just my opinion.

They have a place in the ALM Id rather see them stay in it, however the NZ TV money maybe should go to the NZ based clubs and leave the Aus TV money for the Australian clubs. But i don't see SkySports coughing up $6m for the ALM/W rights anytime soon.
