5-1 loss to Roma may open the door for Ryan.

No mention of Kalik who got 61' for Hajduk.
Svilar was powerless for 3-4 of the goals. Of course Ryan would be expected to save them all. I think though there's a bit more to it like communication at the back. Svilar has been easily beaten a few times. Not exactly mistakes but Ryan could be the new impulse with Hummels being there too. Mixed language communication.

No mention of Kalik who got 61' for Hajduk.
I think Kalik was omitted because he has never been capped for either the Socceroos or the Olyroos - and the way the article is written it would seem that being a capped Socceroo (or Olyroo) is the criterion for inclusion.

One capped Socceroo who was omitted is Tomi Juric, currently playing for Koper in Slovenia. He was subbed on in minute 66 yesterday (replacing brother Deni) and scored the winning goal - his second for the season to date.

Bayern face Mainz in cup and have a reserve game midweek. Would hope Irankunda can get a bench appearance.

Toure starting after an electric half last week

Shame its the same time as the tillies

Lots of cup action midweek. Roma with another league game. Doubtful but maybe Ryan gets a go.

Rawley St John with some starts and bench mins for KFC Uerdingen in the German 4th tier. Same league Gladbach II is in. Laws and Timotheou played here too. CAM and 19 so doing everything right currently.

Irvine starting

will be interesting to see if peupion gets cup time for the academy or seniors this week

Irankunda on bench for U23. Slight hope he doesn't feature and then gets called into the first team squad for the cup tomorrow night. Game is in Mainz so it would be a day trip over. Pretty unlikely.
