Could be a niggle. Could also be in case the first team needs an emergency bench player but Bayern would just forgo calling someone in and make do like City does.

Agree on both counts. I doubt Elder's bench appearances are helping sway Poppa either. If Elder isn't picked, I'd prefer Bos with Goodwin as depth. Or Rowles if we use a back four. Use the squad spot on another player. All preferable to picking Behich. It's a shame Farrell is still injured.

Marcus Neill back down to Sunderland U18 and has scored again. He’s in great form for the underage teams. He’s doing everything right at the moment. I imagine him becoming a more permanent part of the PL2 team towards the end of the season. I’m glad for him and for Lucas. I always loved Lucas Neill for the Socceroos. He was one of my favourite players growing up and it was really sad how everything ended. I’m hopeful that we’ll see some positive things come from Marcus.
