Aussies abroad 🌍🦘

Sorry for the lack of input all, haven't been on this thread for awhile so hadn't realised the change of website.

A couple of updates on our younger Aussies Abroad.

Max Anastasio has transferred to Venezia while also in Italy, Nick Zdrilic was debuted in Serie D for Montecchio Maggiore. In England, Aidan Coyne has gone on loan to Maidenhead for a month and Matt Macarthur has resurfaced at Farnborough, also in the lower levels. Marcus Neill has pushed up to the Sunderland U21 team and Chris Donnell is captaining the Fulham U21's. Dimitri Valkanis (AEK B), Marcus Younis (Jong PSV), Paul Okon-Engstler (Benfica B) are all regulars for their respective teams. Gianluca Okon (15) has been featuring for Club Brugge in the UEFA Youth League.

Plenty of players there that are the offspring of former Socceroos!!
 
Hrustic returns to the starting xi

He had an interrupted preseason so fans shouldn't write him off, we saw improvement from yengi between the first roo and last roo game due to getting a bit more match sharp. I'll be curious if he works better off the ball
 
Irvine starting for St Pauli. Still no Metcalfe.

No Gauci for Villa.

Devlin and Rowles start for Hearts. No Nieuwenhof.

D'Arrigo bench for Gdansk.

Stamatelopoulos starting for Motherwell.

Elder suspended for Derby.

Darrigo being converted into an attacking midfielder flying under the radar. If he wins his way into the xi he could be one to watch the next few years given most of our best players are defensive

All of a sudden we have an abundance of promising goal keepers

The npl rule is looking a bit silly, if u were going to do an embargo on a position it needs to be on cam's and then include a league clubs in the embargo
 
Hrustic subbed off at 63 minutes

He played quite advanced, so if he starts regularly that is good. Having said that he looks way down on his best from his bundesliga days
 
Interesting with Pavlesic. Ullrich was on bench and the Peretz started. I'm not exactly sure if cups reds carry over to the league for Neuer.
