I sometimes scratch my head at this level of, as my mate LFC puts it, analysis paralysis...

So this keeper made 3 saves but somehow only "prevented" 0.12 goals????

I would assume that corresponds to the chances being low percentage chances (for example, a shot from well outside the box) and the saves being regulation saves that all keepers at that level should make.

Yeah, first time I have ever seen diving saves as a category. I've only ever seen the broader category "saves" before. And what constitutes a "dive"?

Paywall. Ryan definitely should have gotten some cup or European games. A bit of a piss take given Svilar has been ordinary. Both mangers so far were on shaky ground and kept changing the outfield players and I guess goalkeepers have a bit of immunity. At the same time it appears to have been a lifestyle and maybe a relationship move. Does his partner spend tie modelling in Italy? Fair enough but Derby suddenly seems like the much better move. Gauci also must urgently get away from Villa for a year.

For me it's also moves to bigger clubs with an incumbent. The Spanish clubs were just weird amd Roma is in its own troubled way. I think the culture is not the right fit when compared to the successful stints nearer to England.
