Australian politics.

at the end of the day, the left's arguments have never stood up to scrutiny hence why they resort to playing the man, and when that tactic fails meltdown ensues, rinse and repeat

Just like Jacinta Price defecting to the libs, this green sheila defecting to Labor is bullshit.

People voted for you based on your party. If your party is not doing it for you anymore, resign and recontest the by-election and if you can't recontest then resign full stop.

Anyone voted for either of those 2 in the first instance would be spewing.

How good was Adam Bandt losing!
The Green Party probably did start off with good intentions, at least in terms of ecological sustainability and implementation of actual 'Green' policies.

But they’ve revealed themselves to be a protest party…… and people caught on eventually. Rent freezes? How the fuck can this be implemented from federal to state government effectively?

Im not particularly against the Green Party but I saw that Abbie Chatfield was mightily pissed off about Bandt getting rejected so well done electorate.

Only those in the echo chamber. Terrible show.

Was good back in the day when it was on a Monday. Set the political agenda for the week at its peak.

The fact it pissed some people off means they were doing something right.

What's the alternative though? Even if you don't like it what other political panel shows are there besides the clown show that is sky? (Insiders isn't bad.) If we want a robust democracy there needs to be a long form platform in some form besides screaming harpies on social media.

Here's my take, we're better off with something rather than nothing. Or put another way, we're worse off without it.

Having Christopher Hitchens on was a high point. I never really watched it personally

I remember that. Richard Dawkins and Brian Cox were highlights too. It used to be pretty good.

Alleged Sydney teen subjected to six-hour gang rape ordeal

always the same lot.

expect more of the same after importing the 3rd world.

If they're not citizens then they need to be deported ASAP.

Absolute scum.

As for your 3rd world statement we have heaps of Rohingas, Yazidis & Sudanese here. I run into them a lot because a lot of them play football. They're great people. I'm sure there's rat bags amongst them but that didn't mean they all don't deserve a better life.

Still blows my pea brain though to hear a young African lad speak with a strong Aussie accent. Hahahaha. So good.

thats it Muz, there's good and not in every breed.
That small % unfortunately really cause some harm and this terrible act is utterly disgusting and their ages no matter who.
What I'll be more livid about is our pathetic soft laws and a system that will support these POS getting mental health sessions etcetc and hardly do any time behind bars where they bloody belong.
They have ruined a young womens life forever and also as a parent you'd be having nightmare's over and over what happenned to your lovely daughter and deal with this crap every day till you pass away.
So so sorry for her she's been robbed of her innocence and struggle rest of her life.
I tend to agree with Beretta about these types but again it no matter the backgrounds.
The Anita Cobby disgrace was not far from those parts of Syd and anglo's we're the P'sOS.

Episodes/crimes like this laws need to start getting back to being much harsher and no options provided.

Generally I'm anti death penalty but for shit like this, and premeditated murder, drag them out the front of the courthouse and string them up from the nearest telephone pole.
