Australian politics.

There you go. Christopher Pyne has called it. They need to stop listening to the hard right in their party.

Yes and is disingenuous for people to crap on about immigration when both sides are, in my opinion, bringing too many people in.

I agree the intake needs to be scaled back. At least until we catch up with infrastructure.

Having said that our economy is built on perpetual growth and given the birth rate is below replacement rate immigration is the only lever they have.
That's true they both are. The issue is if the Greens get more influence on immigration then the bottom feeders start getting let in. We can't afford to just have people entering to 'hang around'.

One hundred percent you need control over who comes in.

Crazy night. It was hard to imagine them failing, particularly given the relative weakness of their rivals on paper. But now they’ve got a leader whose position is untenable and huge questions about their direction and identity. But enough about Sydney FC.

Particular reason why I don’t like the Greens. That, and the general “everyone needs freedom, especially criminals” take that’s infiltrated ACT’s enforcement of laws/crime. (Specifically saying ACT as that’s where I tend to see it happening more from media reporting, plus I’m quite certain that’s the only state/territory they hold significant sway/form government in)

It's just unfathomable that someone can enter German land borders, be
picked up by police, sent to a processing centre guarded by a obese minimum wage security guard with a heart condition, processed by two 50+ skinny ladies with little conviction and they walk out the front gate that night and disappear. Stab someone in another city, get released that night by the police, move to another city, case papers aren't forwarded on, commits the next heinous crime, shot dead by cops.

If the authorities just went psycho on the dickheads then it'd be a more cohesive society. Australia has some examples like this already and the greens are delusional it's not the case. The magistrates are piss weak.

no Germany just designates the most popular political party in the country as an extremist organisation. Because obviously the masses who just want law and order, and their country back are the problem.

Afd are most popular in the polls now. People are fed up. Like LP, they need to banish extreme elements of the party immediately. Fact is, Afd campaign language on immigration is no different to the CDU of the early 90s.

the right was in such a strong position though a few months ago….they stopped the voice! wtf happened
