Australian politics.

Where is John Smith when you need him?

I was hoping for some JS comments about the election.

Ask Lupi.

The Coalition 'threw the election on purpose'.

It's all part of this great, grand plan because.....

....reasons.

no I'm being dead serious this time
I've met thousands of voters face to face. None have expressed views as conservative as yours. However, given the trolling that occurs on FB, they are out there.

My conclusion is the ones who politely don't want to talk, are the ones who have the conservative views and shared values as yours, Loops.

You dead set believe the LNP was too left wing in this election? Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!

That the LNP threw the election! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!

my views are entirely reasonable and just

its your crowd that are on the radical nutjob end of the spectrum

If only they'd gone harder on trans kids and changerooms, pronouns and aboriginals they could have been sitting with a majority instead of the WOKE Labor party.

So the logic goes.
those are sideshow issues

housing crisis, immigration, net zero, cost of living, freedom of speech, the mRNA fiasco are all issues that the so called 'Liberal Party' have failed on

they didn't even come up in the campaign and voters recognised this

You are so deluded.

'The voters'. A couple of thousand fringe clowns. Lol.

Housing crisis. Tick. They banged on incessantly about it. They released a policy allowing people to draw down on their super that was idiotic beyond belief and would have turbocharged house price increases. Marginally more stupid than Labor's 5% deposit scheme.

They banged on non-stop about immigration until it was pointed out that 1.5 million immigrants came in to Australia in the 3 years prior to Covid. So basically the same number as Labor. Whoops!

The 16 visits to petrol stations that Dutton went to presumably weren't about 'cost of living'?

Freedom of speech. Didn't come up much but only an issue for fringe nutjobs anyway. (Lupi yearning for the days you could attend a march carrying a swastika and do the Hitler salute. Aww diddums.).

Mrna. More fringe lunatic stuff only scum dwelling bottom feeders care about.

The 2 big issues were cost of living and energy. And people saw straight through the rabble on the right and their proposed 'solutions'. (Not that Labor's were much better with regards those 2 issues.)

So yeah, they did campaign on issues that people thought were important.

Off back to Skynews and twitter loopy where the tin foil hat brigade rant and rave about changerooms and pronouns and 'filthy' immigrants and the 'great displacement' underway in the west.

how many lies can one post into one incoherent rant, Muz going for gold

FWIW I don't even watch Sky News

your entire world view is informed by corporate/globalist left wing media and ALP talking points

you've never had an original thought in your life

You're right. I should be watching rumble.com. and reading thegatewaypundit and scraping the bottom of the barrel of twitter for my world view.

It's just so typical of your pea brain to say I lied and then refuse to say where and how. Because you can't.

Everyone sees through it. You're an intellectual lightweight that might carry some sort of imprimatur on anarchy but everywhere else you're just an angry old man in a basement with a tin hat.

I'd like to see the Nationals return to their country-ish roots. Why the Liberals would give a fuck about the Nationals core constituency is a mystery to me. Like the end to any relationship they might both me better apart.

As I've said whoever advised the Liberal's especially in this campaign to go into the direction they did is a moron. They 'll probably go back to the centre to a certain extent but the damage is done and the Nationals have rightly seen that they're a bunch of idiots.

Because they'd never form government without them and some form of government for them is better than no government. Plus the Nats being predominantly regional are out of the way of the Libs.

What's that saying about 'strange bedfellows'?
