The a league is dying for some more star players I understand youth is the priority but they don't sell tickets

Thanks for summarizing all these.
Re Oliver Jones - Randers is Level 1 in Denmark
As far as I can make out, Jack Iredale to Rotherham didnt happen and he remains a starter for Hibs

Pearman is happening next season. He’s going on a free as his contract ends at the end of this season.

Perth should get some training fees though

Not sure if Robert Cook to Leeds ended up happening either. From memory the reports jumped the gun a bit.

Thanks mate. There were a few typos in there I thought I'd corrected them all. I've updated and removed Jack Iredale.

Thanks mate. I remember checking this on transfermrket for confirmation. It must have been the rumours page. I've added it to the rumours.

No but young players sale fees and on sell fees are a bigger potential income stream than short lived marquees.

And they are making the competition stronger by making the local players stronger footballers
yes and no capac.
In the short term this model needs the bums on seats.
As good as youth is great to see and selling on doesn't happen weekly where does it attract the casuals and bonus incremental business need.
The model does need sugar hits no diff to any model/commodity as such.
Look at BR/Jets/Bulls/WU/PG, sure now and then their crowds get a spike but its consistancy for survival.
Without the broadcast revenue that reported is very low x club and whenever due for newal/proposal you sure need to sell on alot of players to keep your head above water therefore - if thats the only additional income potential in that case hard to survive.
This business needs seats filled for week by week running costs and the curve balls that happen.
Its common business practice.
