Australian transfers 25-26 Summer

July 1 so all the transfers and updates went through TransferMarkt today. A few players released that I am not sure have been mentioned - Ryan Edwards, Dean Bouzanis, Jason Davidson, Terry Antonis, Jay Rich-Baghuelou, Xavier Smith and Chris Donnell.

Lots of Aussies in Italy moving up from U17 and U18, to Primavera - Fanari, Troselj, Anastasio and Treffiletti.
Hadn't heard about Edwards, Bouzanis, or Smith.

I wonder if Davidson comes back to Victory. We need to replace Bos.

I'll be interested to see what level Donnell goes to. He was dominating but so was Peupion when he left to Dutch 2nd division.

I'm excited for Treffiletti who is one of my favourite up and coming midfielders. So smooth on the ball.

Bos still the only LB with Mwene. They'll surely get one more. Matthews seems 2nd or 3rd bst CB right now as the others are either moaned about constantly by fans or have their own ins and outs. They'll surely strengthen a bit more. Farrell vs Ogilve again. Segecic with a lot of good competition but plenty of minutes available while Waddingham has two very good strikers ahead of him and will probably get cups and late cameos early on.

Yeah not everyone is going to be a superstar. I see him being a decent a league player with a few more socceroo caps that's still a great career
Well said!

Some guys who play most of their career in Aus have better Socceroo careers than UEFA club players.

I've just seen that Hrustic is seeking an AL contract after his Italian club being demoted to Serie C. A season or two ago Hrustic was doing well in the Eredivisie.

In his age cohort he is one of our best Socceroo technicians on the ball ( not compared to the U23s and younger though), but probably the worst Socceroo off the ball for the last 5 years. Plus he lacks the acute game sense of particularly smart players like Irvine, Behich, Goodwin and Duke, and formerly Mooy.
