Lunin from Real Madrid being touted. It was clear from day 1 he'd get played. They can buy whoever they want. Gauci needed an immediate loan and then had the bad luck of injury too. He's currently rusty off the radar.

He must not accept a reserve role in the Villa first team. Loan or break ranks.

I think petrov is more likely to be right because a low xg per shot is not unusual for successful spfl wingers. The step up isnt huge
 
Some AL departures.

Perth released Barr, Hamzaoui and Warland while Wood returns to Sydney FC at the end of his loan. Pearman will go to QPR as mentioned in other posts.

Newcastle Jets have released Scott, Bowling, Ingham, M’Mombwa, Timmins, Dowse, Vidic and Wellissol while Scarlella returns to Sydney at the end of his loan spell.

Of those departing players, Ingham has been linked with a move to Asia, Timmins is rumoured to have re-joined Perth, Vidic has been linked with WSW while Jacob Dowse has rumoured to have medically retired.

Last year was impressed with Burgess watching him live.

I regard Scotland as a backwards step from AL, because of the style of football. That is unless one goes to Celtic or Rangers. Then a player gets Champ League or Europa L football.

Sad to see Milanovic go to Aberdeen. I'd prefer the Austrian Bundi where Drew is playing.
