Who does the 45 day rule apply to? Presumably elected reps and cabinet members, which other hangers-on?

Having said that, I imagine that all the Trump appointees probably do their trading in some backdoor underhand way that is difficult to track anyway. Being a shyster is a fundamental requirement to be a Trump appointee.

I think Pelosi is the second richest American politician I read somewhere, a lot of it through trading. The bloke on top (GOP) came from money. (Had a ton of money when he was elected.)

This is outrageous from both sides, but how politicians could legally trade when they can clearly benefit with inside info at the time is insane.

Also, without a doubt if another nation did this America would not just threaten but launch military action pronto.

Ffs they just bombed a country because they are blocking Israel’s shipping lane. Imagine what they’d do if someone manipulated their profits like this.
