A question for you all - I really want to know how you think ...

The Biden Department of Justice (federal level) investigated the sexual allegation against Matt Gaetz that he had sex with a minor. And you know that if the Biden DOJ had found anything of substance, they would have sought to destroy Gaetz. But the Department of Justice found nothing, and didn't press charges.

But, as you know, in the rats nest of dirty politics, the Democrats started their own investigation in the House of Congress's ethics committee. They've stretched it out for 2 years, which helped them say for 2 years that "Gaetz is under ethics investigation".

Given that the partisan Department of Justice dropped the case, why are you so quick to see Gaetz as a sexual predator? (Some of you have written that, accusing him).

In my worldview, where a person is innocent until proven guilty, for me, the most extreme I could take is to remain neutral until facts and evidence emerge.

I cannot bring myself to form a negative opinion, until I see facts and evidence either for or against.

Whereas we live in a culture where the Media slanders people, and the common folk (that's you) just believe the Media. I find it helpful to interact with you lot, because it trains me to understand how typical people (like you) in society act in these matters, i.e. they bring out the pitchforks at the slightest hint from the Media. You lot have taught me that the average Aussie, in 2024, is not a fair-minded, justice-focused person, like previous generations of Australians were more so.

This is why, for me, facts and evidence are all-important. And it's what leads me even to the 6,000 year issue (as Muz will be quick to remind) ... facts and evidence.

The 6,000 year issue is proof that people like Muz operate -- not on facts/evidence -- but on an automatic-assumption mode. i.e. if someone says something that totally jarrs his worldview - rather than testing facts and evidence - he switches to automatic-judgment mode to say it is totally ridiculous. For Muz, when something is so overwhelmingly ridiculous, he switches to automatic-judgment, no need for examining facts/evidence. I see that Muz is typical of the majority of Australians, am I correct?

Consider this logic:

- bringing false law-fare cases against political opponents is lawlessness, which is what the Leftist DOJ has done for 8 years. (e.g. the Russia-collusion hoax accusing Trump of being a Russian spy).

- bringing accountability to what the DOJ has done is not "retribution". It is justice.

- Matt Gaetz was nominated by Trump to clean out the DOJ.

- What do you think the Democrat-controlled Media will do and say?

Steele fabricated a fake-report (known as the Steele Dossier). The Durham Report dated May 12, 2023, stated that the FBI knew full well that the Steele Dossier was fake. But the FBI used that fake dossier to request permission from the F.I.S.A. court to spy on Trump. And the FBI used that fake Steele dossier several times to obtain extensions to keep spying on Trump, even when he was President in his 1st term.

And now when Trump says he's going to dismantle the rats nest in the FBI, CIA and DOJ, the Media covers for them saying Trump is seeking retribution against his political enemies.

The coming of Donald Trump on the political landscape has blown the lid of where each person stands. Previously, anyone who was fun at a party was suitable as pal. But now, with Trump being so contentious, you can instantly tell what people's inner worldviews are.

Same for RFK Jr. See how the New York Times are attacking him. And, as with Trump, the RFKJr thing is helping sift out people's worldviews.

From what I know of you lot - from the megathread on the previous website - my prediction is most of you are on the anti-RFK bandwagon because he is said to be "anti-vax". That's enough for you to be against him.

For those of you who won't bother reading this link below, the NYTimes attacked RFKJr, but in doing so, admitted that the food sold in the U.S. is crammed with artificial colourings, whereas the Canadian version had natural colourings.

1. They have declined to press charges. Does not mean he is either guilty or not guilty. His own members of his party have said he had sex with a minor. If not true then sue for defamation? Surely you 'd like to see the report from his own party? I am not saying he did it or not - I wasn't there and haven;t read the report,but lets not forget his dad is the Repulican swamp in Florida. And just the other day the child's lawyer said release the report and she said she witnessed him having sex/doing drugs with underage girl.

I think it's great. It's going to be Brexit 2.0 all over again. All these thick-as-fuck idiots regretting their decision after their lives only got worse once they swallowed all this bullshit from the right being on their side and looking out for them.

I just hope all of trump's picks get approved. Every person in his cabinet only has something like an 8% chance of staying on based on all the other falling outs. Let the circus begin.

You realise it's not Democrat vs Republican? It's the corrupt system vs the change-agents. Both R and D have corruption. Trump's own R party contains some of his greatest enemies.

The Muller investigation was not against the general concept of Russian influence. It was specifically to nail Trump as being a Russian spy. To say otherwise is the grossest Leftist spin. The Left used the Muller investigation to tie Trump up for 3 years. In spite of Leftist use of the legal system to destroy Trump, he still managed to get the economy roaring.

In Trump's 1st term he wanted to instantly build the border wall, but his enemies from both R and D opposed him. And when Biden took over, they sold off the metal parts of the uncompleted wall for pittance, to prevent the wall being constructed. And then they let in 10+ million illegals coming through the gaps in the wall.
