That would be nice however geopolitics and empires ( yes we still have them ) don't work that way and haven't for the past 5,000 years at least.

Greenland ( and Panama ) are just another trade route/shipping lane conflict in a history of mankind littered with them. That's another thing I'm interested to see pan out in the next 12-24 months.

@tsf Re: Colombia/Venezuela - I spent a month in Bogota a while back when was younger/single. If Orange Buffoon is surrounding himself with a Latina harem then he could do worse.
 
The best thing about all this is people on the left (usually educated and well off will be fine under trump)..his numties though...well

I know what you're saying but you'd hope we'd be past just taking stuff given we had 2 massive world wars and other, often pointless, conflicts in the last few decades.

What if Trump said he wanted Darwin?

I suppose the Trump sycophants would welcome it.

Definitely some amazing women there. My missus is from Bogota.

if I had any advice for a young man now I'd be saying learn spanish and get on a plane. It's a hell of a lot easier and better when you can communicate.

I love it over there, I go a fair bit. Music, food, vibe....
