No doubt SMH would smoke WU and Bulls might I add re crowds amongst a couple of other APL Clubs and sure its an injection but not at the expense of the NPL/Clubs and the bigger picture.I consider South Melbourne to be the opposite of a sugar hit, fancy new franchises are sugar hits
Granted the time to bring in South would have been between 2005-2010, but god they couldn't possibly do worse than WU, and you have a ready made fiery rivalry with Victory right there
This would create another deflection on setting up the game below that needs building/support on finally creating a road map more in sync open and improved Jnr development moving forward.
We need this Championship or NSD to get going, gain some momentum, get to a Pro model and anothe rbelow in the future far more important than propping up a closed system and one that isn't in favour of open competition.
