Had a look over it on the weekend, it is actually quite a healthy set of financials particularly given it was a non-WC cycle year and the 'headline' loss figure (I say headline because it was chosen by the author to be the headline) is a tad misleading in light of their cash flow earnings being positive. The change in AFC broadcasting arrangements seems to have a bigger impact on results (compared to prior 6 months) than the APL write-off. On no reasonable read of those financials should it cause concern. Pretty disappointed with the angle played here (oh well, it should appease the Fairfax bosses. Go Rugby!).
