Gee, do I disagree with Alex’s appraisals of a few Aussie players and coaches!

Agree with him about Spurs/ Ange and non- football people hiring and firing coaches. In France Tech Dirs do the hiring and firing.

I have the advantage of second looks and compiling stats though, which are appearing in the stats thread for the Socceroos.

I’m quite unhappy with Aus having too little ball against Japan and Saudi, but Popa’s clever park the bus tactics worked.
 
I'm going to respond to a number of Alex's views on the Socceroo match stats thread, as the data is there ( or will be) to present rationale for agreeing and disagreeing with him.

Very intuitive, LFC.

Not a great deal of support if I sit in front of a computer when my better half is awake, or home during the day!

Trying to catch up on some episodes. Don't mind the mini ones if they are also cost effective. Packs a real punch although we all agree we could talk all day about some topics.

Nice to put faces to posters too. Currently on episode 12. Mr Cleansheets obviously named. Graham in white shirt is Grazor and who is Alex on here in the black?

The part about guns is what I've been thinking for ages. Pissed up fans from across the world the an argument starts. Very different to most places. However, I remind myself that you get lots of travelling people for the big 4 sports, drinking in bars and it's not exactly the wild west.
 
This place has really become top with podcasts or mini chats and now articles. I don't know of many other sites but also member contribution ties things together nicely. There's something collaborative about the tone compared to the arrogant echo chambers of the old Fox sports articles for example.

Something about many football news like Fox, The Athletic and Optus has an undertone of 'we run opinions and we'll pick and choose sentiment and stick our nose up at everyone else'.

Guilty as charged. Amazingly reddit is something I'm on regularly as a visitor but football is about 1% of my reading so I'm not even well versed in the A league stuff there.
 
So what's anarchy football exactly? Is this another forum or previous one? Can't find a site. If I can pick up from mentions it's something of a page and users may wander to other forums and it has a bit of a reputation?

Its still around these days but was 10k back in the day, replaced the world game forum ages ago
