Because trying to have a discussion on an internet forum with cyber warriors is futile when they cannot even concede 200 year old basic scientific principles, universally agreed on by the global scientific community AND the world at large. I mean, 200+ government meteorological services around the world all record ever increasing annual temperatures in "equatorial places" yet the self researches somehow claim that high humidity regulates temperatures... Jesus Christ its laughable.

And when it doesn't they can use pumped hydro or solar or batteries. And if they have to they can burn coal.

Every time they use renewables they're not burning a finite resource. I take it you understand what 'finite' means.

No comment on the 12.2% loss of arctic ice decade on decade? Seem to want to point out the situation in the Antarctic.

I'm not going to comment on cherry picked data which is specifically being used to push an agenda. Its a waste of time. Remember the Antarctic has been warming for 6000 years irrespective of human activity. Ice ages are cyclical.

Batteries and solar panels also use finite resources and neither have an unlimited lifespan.

Abc aside, it seems the German news made a bigger fuss out of the NSW floods than any other Australian station until now. Were there and warnings or forecasts? An ocean just doesn't drop out of the sky. Once again an immense amount of water in a similar place it's been.
 
yes we knew it was coming, been on the news showing BOM maps etc - no matter what you do you will never be a step ahead of mother nature no matter the prep and learnings of the past.
Sydney is no where as bad as mid north coast up but damn, the last 4days have been constant heavy falls and flooding due to blocked drains etc as usual.

We got 300mm in 2 days. Crazy rain for this time of year.

Polar opposite of Wagga where I've just been which is in a severe drought.
