great few examples NCB.
Few and far between but seriously putting aside spending big $$$'s even that fails the other way, how many clubs have sent a motza and failed eh.
Smart recruitment and team harmony still adds greatly to a good season as mentioned, if and when results fall your way as well makes for a even better season.
Interesting the Wimbledon one, just the other day there was an article of the grief the club going into liquidation and reforming/coming back as MKDons.
There is alot of unhappy Wimbledon supporters still against that outcome.

Who knows mate. It wouldn't be the first time they've screwed us over and it wouldn't be last. You do get the feeling that because soccer was interested then it's a higher priority for AFL to intervene.
 
soccer should get interested in random things and make afl blow their money on useless stuff

spread the word: sydney harbour side apartments are the key to footballs future success, if we don't get competition we will buy 500 of them and football will finally make it. Hope the afl don't find out

That’s quite the turn for Wynalda considering the Twitter flame-war he got into w/Herculez Gomez last year in the process of sticking up for Lalas..

Having said that, anyone w/a rudimentary knowledge of 🇺🇸⚽️ can agree that Alexi Lalas is to them what Robbie Slater is to us - a bitter archaic hasbeen not to be listened to💡

fast forward to 4.20min mark.

there was an off the ball incident involving our GK which he got sent off for.

question is, how is that a penalty? shouldn't it be an indirect free kick in the box, as it's an off the ball incident?

Any incident that involves physical contact - whether on or off the ball - is a direct free kick. So in the penalty area, would be a penalty.

All time great ? He was good but didn’t play in major leagues but good on him banged some goals in leagues he played.
Good luck to his son he’d be a very proud dad.

I think City Guy means he had an "all time great name", not he was an "all time great player".
