yer I luv midfield generals - agree wouldn't mind being cloned.
Just the complete player to me, vision, technical skills, intercepts, brilliant touch, reads everything, killa balls, worldy goals now and then, makes or breaks the tight game, some are stealth and yet influence the game.
He is a dynamo - Pirlo I admired similar, Zidane, well he was brilliant pity French haha, Xavi and Iniesta.
SG didn't have the best players around but he dragged them all with him what a ticker he had.

I'm not sure. I think that he could do a couple of seasons as a marquee player in the MLS. With his almost unique footballing abilities his fitness levels are probably irrelevant...

Even if he did lose a yard of pace he'd still do what he did a decade ago. He's quite unbelievable.

One of my favourite football players of all time.

Hence bugga the retirement fund MLS.
He can still run the game and suits SerieA imo even in his gran ol age and far better hanging up the boots from a league that is far more worthy than the yank shop.

The MLS might not be as good as even the 'second tier' of European league's but playing the end of your career in the USA would be a highly rewarding experience in terms of lifestyle for Luka and his family and any other high profile European footballer....sometimes it's not just the level of football irvthe amount of coin....

Personally I would love to live in the USA for a few years.
