Matilda's abroad

Full time in the Arsenal v Bayern UWCL game, it ends 3-2 in favour of Arsenal. Steph Catley played the full match in addition to stoppage time, whilst Caitlin Foord got a yellow card in the 74th minute and was subbed off in the 78th minute, replaced by Lina Hurtig. Kyra Cooney-Cross played 90 minutes before being subbed off for Rosa Kafaji at the start of six minutes of second-half stoppage time.

I'd say definitely keep an eye on Sharn Freier because she'll be a fundamental part of the Matildas forward line going into the future, and inevitably she'll make the move to either the European leagues or NWSL at some point. Also maybe keep an eye on Chloe Lincoln as she'll eventually replace Macca and Teagan Micah as starting keeper, and see how Winonah Heatley and Daniela Galic do as well.

I really liked the look of Bryleeh Henry against Taiwan. She gave us a lot of drive on the right.

Courtney Nevin came off the bench in the 46th minute of Leicester City's rescheduled Women's FA Cup tie against third tier Stoke City, which ended 4-1 in favour of Leicester City.

Super Dario Vs Micah

Despite 4 errors from Liverpool keeper they took a 1-0 lead into half time.
Both teams really struggled to play out from the back with so many errors.

Teagan Micah played the full match in addition to stoppage time between the sticks for Liverpool in what ended up being a 2-1 win for them over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Teams have been named for the Everton v Aston Villa game in the first matchday for the WSL after the winter break. Clare Wheeler starts in midfield for Everton.

Spurs v Leicester City in the WSL is now underway. Hayley Raso starts for Spurs, with Clare Hunt and Charlotte Grant on the bench. Courtney Nevin on the bench for Leicester City.
