Mate it's not just the media. I'm fuming they dragged that flog out. The want nothing to do with us until it suits them. And if we asked him to present it that's even worse.

Why not get a former matildas captain?

Also how dumb to do the presentation beforehand. More the half the girls were in tears. What a great head space to be in just before a match.

The FA apl all these suits are out of touch with the fans and players it's not surprising
 
they out of touch of correct procedures period !
Did the same with Williams, WTF have presentations pre games ??????
Just out and out stupid - players get all hung up, emotional when they need to focus on the game !
Friendly or not its just not feckin right !
Post game is when presentations to be held.

Next - having a NRL legend that he is - seriously only oztralia and our frigging football screw up like this.

Could have at least got Mary over due to mental health as a non playing Tilda to present :)

I did wonder this. They went all out to make this a special event, I reckon they wouldn't have just got someone random.

Yes I read that yesterday. In which case fair enough.

Not sure why they just didn't say over the PA on on TV that he was Polks hero growing up.

Completely forgot the game was on and just switched on the last five minutes. Looking very scrappy. Not happy to see that we started Van Egmond, Yallow, Kennedy, and Heyman. Not really showing any potential progress.
 
Damn, we looked really lacking in attack. Everything was just going wide, then cross in and easily cleared. We looked threatening when we ran at them though. Cooney-Cros, Freier, Galic, all very technical and smart minded thinking. Add in Fowler and those four could be a good base.

We really need to get the manager sorted out -Not Sermani- and do it soon otherwise we will get left behind by a lot of these nations.
 
Cooney Cross is a gun and a half.

Subs were great when they came on. Grant has been out far too long.

Good to see some heft with Gielnik and Galic to dish out some punishment.
 
Beautiful pass from Foord for Raso to score. Absolute peach.
 
Heaps of biffo which was great. Thoroughly enjoyed that match.
 
Apart from kerr feel like most of our best players are young - cooney cross, carpenter and fowler

But I also feel we are falling behind quickly....
