I can't remember where we were talking about this (might have been under another master thread)

Big F1 news (to me) at least - F1 trying to make Monaco more exciting by ratifying a regulation change that allows Monaco specifically to have a mandatory pit-stop limit - therefore forcing teams to pit each driver twice (Rather than the mandatory once that is currently regulated by virtue of 'all drivers must use two different tyre compounds during a Grand Prix')

like alot of sport today its all about the commercialism outlook the precious people whinging and prefer change.
It the characteristic of the track like evry other imo, some are great for over taking some are tight as that one is Monaco.
Breaking tradition for the sake of viewership for I'm sure those at the track live are not bored < well those who are into racing compared to the fashionasti/trend setters and look at me types.
I actually consider watching a driver trying to make tenths and find that 1 only spot to force an overtake good viewing.
You watch a craftsman at work in very very challenging conditions.
The winners clocking up lap after lap near on perfection mm's from the barriers/walls is fine tooth handling at mega speeds.
Sure another stop resets a new race but pretty unfair for the ones who have worked hard getting in good position.

Qualifying results at the end of Q3. Ferrari failing badly. Piastri first for a few seconds then Norris swooped in and pipped him for the top spot on the front row.

and Japan race run over the weekend.
MV showed the class Champion he is with a under performing car drags it to make Pole and following day holds off the Mc's start to finish win.
That is top driver 101 to me.
Come Ferrari find those much needed tenths to get amongst the front runners, its not far just get there please !

Funniest bit of the race was Lando whining about "pushing me off the track" during the race on the radio, but completely changing his tune once outside the car post-race

The Victorian Government has announced a major $350 million upgrade to the Albert Park Circuit pit building, home of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. The new structure will include 14 state-of-the-art garages, a modern race control centre, media and administrative spaces,…

There's one thing that annoys me about this.

There was this big whole hoopla over the past couple years about F1 being able to bring in a new team. FIA wanted it, then F1 didn't, so there was that little war about that. And part of that discussion was - "The circuits don't have enough room for extra teams"

Now, at the moment there are 10 teams, and they did finally agree to an 11th. Which means 22 garages. But when the regulations for F1 state that "Up to 13 teams may take part" and the circuits need to meet the specs required by the F1 regulations... why are circuits not being built/chosen that have enough garages in the first place?

Clubrooms and indoor courts for the local football club in the area ..... perfecto :)
