I like the Matildas recent efforts better than the men's. Plus it sets up a friendly rivalry as to who has the better gear.

To be fair, if that is the jersey then almost no one is going to buy it. So they have to try to flog it off at $180 a pop to try to recoup some costs.

If this is it I’m not sold on it. Don’t like the black (?) collar and side panels. And I suspect the shorts would be yellow too, which I also don’t like in principle (they should always be green). Or what would be 100 times worse, black shorts, a la late 90’s. Black is not one of our national colours.

Having a better look at that leaked picture.. I highly doubt that's the training shirt. Usually they have just the FA logo, rather than the coat of arms FA mock up. Plus the material of the shirt looks like the authentic playing version - usually these ones are closer to $180, but there better be replicas closer to $100-120, surely??

I mean I won't buy one, regardless (unless we win the bloody World Cup in this monstrosity), but still.

Would assume black shorts along with that (based off the side panels) rather than yellow. I don't mind that bit... it's the stripes that's the issue for me.

I don't mind the black shorts tbh. I mean.. only if it makes sense. Despite the rest of this jersey being like lentil soup, black shorts instead of yellow ones in this instance is like nonna also gave me a slice of bread to dip in.

Yeah I was about to say that as well. That clearer picture, if I take a really really close look, appears to be similar to the shade of the 2018 Away kits. Or the trim colour on the sleeves of the 2020 away kit
