By the way, Marconi going back to something approximating the original logo means south Melbourne is the last of the ex nsl club still using their NCIP era logo is that correct? Don’t know how you feel but in my opinion south should go back to their early 90s logo too

I don’t mind kogarah for them to be honest, was good for the Olympic v south pre season game which I attended last season. Obviously that was a bigger than average crowd but still. Also lots of Greeks living around the area, it’s not too far from the old St George stadium for reference for people outside Sydney.

As much as I LOVE our original logo, Im sort of on the fence. I would love to see a "modernised" variation of it but not exactly a copy of the old... Something that links heritage to new football (We have had the current logo for nearly 3 decades now btw so as crappy and basic as it is it has sort of become part of the furniture) I would like something similar to below we used for 60th anniversary but without the soccer ball and maybe stars for national titles above the crest.....

Haha no certainty not the lakers one. Yea something more like the one down the bottom would be an improvement in my opinion. I do like the SMH one personally but I understand the arguments against. Re Marconi there’s ones ever been the boomerang one (albeit there was the one where soccer Australia made the club take the Italian colours out of the boomerang) or the more recent one from the early 2000s till now. So am happy with the return to tradition

I LOVE Marconi's new Logo ... can't believe this NST thing is going ahead next year... it feels like yesterday they first started talking about it... Cant wait to see the old Palace again :)

Im not just being biased when I say that it genuinely is looking the best it has in years, kudos to the club for investing the money back into the facilities
 
Re Olympic btw, would be good to see some of their fans on here, they have lots of highly active fans on social media pages but don’t seem to have shown much interest in the forums

I'd like to see see fans of ALL the NST teams to be honest (and even more NPL or even state league ones) declare a club and get the conversation going.... 2025 has the potential to be a real rejuvenation for some of our clubs and EVERYONE is welcome this time round.
